Lawyers from all over the country come to Charlottesville, Virginia every year for five days of intensive training in trial skills, taught by distinguished practitioners. The college culminates with students putting on a trial that is judged by sitting jurists. Many hours of preparation by volunteer staff, lawyers and judges go into making this program a success year after year.
Ms. Rohrstaff believes in the importance of giving back to her profession and has enjoyed teaching for many years. She not only gets to be with colleagues from all parts of the country, she gets to spend time with really smart student lawyers who are eager to improve their trial skills.
